"Quality Puppies from America's Heartland" |
Show Pictures |
Tom wanted to know "How many show pictures are you going to put on there?" "As many as I can!" was my reponse. These pictures may look similar, but they represent hundreds of hours of grooming, travel, commitment and patience (on his part) and enjoyment (on my part!). They are a culmination of our breeding program, the future of our kennel, and a pictoral representation of a wonderful hobby! See you at the shows! |
New Designs Emperor Go-Komatsu |
Yes, his name is a mouthful, but Katsu is our first home-bred. He is shown here going Best of Breed at the Duluth, MN show...owner-handled (for better or worse!) Funloving and outgoing, Katsu is all that a Chin should be. He loves "his" dog shows and loves playing games in the ring. Thanks for all the kind words about him. We are very excited and proud of him, too! Katsu has finally decided to grow a "man shape" and some hair! He'll be out again in April! Watch his progress - we only need the majors! |
Ch. Derrick's Black N Style |
Herb finished his championship in Sioux Falls, South, Dakota with back-to-back 5 point majors. Thanks to everyone for their kind words about him. He's special to us, too! As always, thanks to Pat and Connie Derrick for their continued help, support, and for giving me the opportunity to own superb dogs that make the whole job look easy! Thanks, too, to Jeanne and Darrel Mogck for their great breeeding program. |
Ch. Derrick's Atomic Sweetheart |
Sugar finished her championship in Lincoln, Nebraska. Thanks to all of the judges who recognized her quality. Thanks, also, to Patrick and Connie Derrick for this wonderful girl. She is the dog of my heart! |
Odessa's Tora Kiba Romanson |
Thanks to Cheryl Dahle for this amazing boy. Owning him is the opportunity of a lifetime! Thanks also to Cindy Kunert for more than I can express. Grandson of the incomperable Hutzul, Tora is a dog of a lifetime. Elegant, sweet and full of surprises, he is a delight. Shown going Best of Breed in Albert Lea, MN. Thanks to everyone for their help and support! |
New Designs Kabuki Doll |
Kabuki continues to steal hearts wherever she goes! Shown here under Mr. Edd Biven, she received Best of Winners for 2 points and also was chosen as Best Puppy. In Mr. Biven's words, "Here comes cute!" Thanks to everyone for their kind words about her. Thanks, too, to Cindy Kunert for the opportunity to share our lives and home with her. She's a doll! Watch for her at the National in May! |
Illusions Supreme Emperor |
Remus continues to win hearts and awards as his show career enters his fall campaign. He is maturing to be a magnificent showman - he loves to strut his stuff! We are expecting great things from him in the very near future! Thanks Cindy! |
Derrick's Chocolate Martini |
Abner has made a big splash as he starts his show career. He is shown taking best of breed, beating Chance for the points! Thanks, Patrick and Connie, for this great boy. Thanks, to, Jeanne and Darrel for the opportunity to show off a great dog. He makes the whole thing look easy. Thanks, Cindy, for the excellent help in the ring. You know that we couldn't have done any of this without you! Your help and mentoring has made this summer very enjoyable. Winning helps, too! |
